El Muelle

One of the newest shopping centres on Gran Canaria is the ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centres) named "El Muelle" who is located in the Capital of Gran Canaria, Las Palmas not far from the famous Santa Catalina Park. This is one of the best shopping centres in Europe. Overlooking the port area and a couple of minutes walk from Santa Catalina Square and the Science and Technology Museum, the Museo Elder de la Ciencia y Tecnologí­�a, El Muelle is a large, new shopping area with countless stores of all descriptions, from designer wear to food, jewellers, cafés, restaurants, fastfood, bar , nightclubs, a marvellous cinema and a wide terrace where yu can spend the time with friends talking while you try some of ours best drinks .The shopping centre won a prestigeous "Most beautiful shopping centre of Europe" award in 2004.

It is the main shopping street of the city, where the best variety of shops can be found including the national department store El Corte Ingles. It contains a total of 13 floors of shopping located in two buildings. The length of the street is as big as the variety of shops that exists in it. The best domestic and foreign firms, the most restaurants and the most stores you'll find here. A space designed for leisure, entertainment and shopping.
